Health



Welcome to health class. We will cover a number of topics in this class, which we hope will help you make healthy choices in your life. We will discuss and study how to be proactive in the pursuit of health and wellness. Below is a list of some of the topics we hope to study:

-personal health assessment
-nutrition
-healing and alternative approaches to healing
-exercise, yoga, meditation
sexual health
healthy relationships
chemical health
mental health and more

To earn full credit in this class you will be expected to:

1. Attend class each day
2. Arrive on time and stay to the end of the class period.
3. Be respectful to peers, adults and guests.
4. Participate in class discussions and activities.
5. Successfully complete classroom assignments, homework and tests.

Grading is on group participation, handouts, activities, and projects. Partial credit may be granted at the teacher's discretion.
